Parents - As you know our county has seen an increase in
illnesses the past few weeks with the most common being the flu.
As a reminder to prevent the spread of germs you can do
*Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
*While sick, avoid contact with others as much as
possible to keep from infecting them. You should stay home except to get

stay home for at least 24 hours after the fever is gone without the use of a

get medical care. Strep throat needs to be treated with antibiotics.
*Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough
or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
*Wash your hands often with soap and water. If soap and
water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
*Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Germs spread
*Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that may be
contaminated with germs like the flu.
