Thank you for your understanding during this extended school closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
At each Meal Distribution site, families are asked to create a “drive-thru” line to accept food through the car window. This will allow us to follow social distancing practices, protecting both our families and employees.
Meal Distribution sites will be at the following locations:
-Arvilla Community building on Arvilla Road
-St. Marys High School- families should go to the back parking lot towards the VoAg Department hallway entering the south entrance and exiting through the north entrance
-God’s Glory Church at 7300 Pike Rd St. Marys WV 26170
-Pleasants County Middle School- families will follow the student drop off traffic pattern and meals will be handed out near the entrance of the last hallway of Belmont Elementary School
-Select Energy located at 7994 South Pleasants Highway

We are pleased to announce the establishment of math4life: West Virginia's Pre-K—Grade 12 Campaign for Mathematics Achievement. While there is much work to be done to support mathematics achievement in our state, the West Virginia Department of Education and collaborative partners are committed to support a comprehensive effort to elevate mathematics achievement for all students. Information is provided here detailing the states efforts - a true PreK-Grade 12 Campaign for Mathematics Achievement - to close the mathematics achievement gap. A five-year external evaluation will occur to determine the short and long-term impacts of this initiative. The contractors for this evaluation will be selected via an RFP that will be available in the future.
